Mangrove Forests - this type of forest supports the fishing livelihood of many Asians. It doesn't only enhance fisheries but also serves as a protection of coastal areas. Majority of this forests lie in the Philippines, Myanmar, Indonesia, Cambodia, etc.
Swamp Forests<em> (Peat Swamp Forest</em>) - thistype of forest has low nutrient contents and high acidity. Its waterlogged environment makes it ideal as a habitat for some plants and animals.
