D. Mine

Possessive pronouns, like regular pronouns (me, you, they), are simply words which replace nouns and refer to something or someone. The difference being that these pronouns indicate ownership. Mine, yours, his, hers, its, ours and yours are good examples of strong possessive pronouns.

A: Cause/Effect organization

Evaluate three ways in which conflict can help to build positive relationships between youth and their parents
quester [9]
Well I don't know if this is three ways but this is what I know. when there is conflict and the child gets mad and blocks you out "You as in the adult" they realize after a while that with out you they would have nothing that they have now and that they wouldn't even be here and life with out you would be bad and lonely and hard to work with so then the child will think positively about what he or she has and be thankful for it and that builds a positive relationship off of a negative conflict :) . I know this from my own experiences so I hope that what I know is a help to you and if its not that's ok

How does the author develop his claim by including descriptions of his experiences as a young person?
kogti [31]

Answer:

The author develops his claim by including the example of his childhood by telling how important it is switch the communication style while in different cultural settings.

Explanation:

"Learning How To Code-Switch: Humbling, But Necessary

" is an article written by Eric Deggans. The article talks about the importance of switching communication style while being in different cultural settings.

In this article, the author includes his childhood experience when he would include the word 'guys' while speaking with his poor and black neighborhood. For them the word 'guys' was a white men word, thus the author was ridiculed for making use of that word in his black neighborhood.

By including this example of his childhood, the author is trying to develop a claim of how important it is switch the codes while being in different cultural settings. And to learn how to switch the codes.
