Who were against the Eugenics program? Why did they claim it was a false science?

History

In 1910, an equilibrium model was created by Godfrey N. Hardy and Wilhelm Weinberg, which disproved claims from the Eugenics program, developed by Francis Galton in the early 1900's, that low-class families were "tainting" the gene pool with dysgenic genes.

Later in 1935, the Carnegie Institution disproved the majority of the Eugenics Record Office's work of any scientific merit based on the works of scientists such as George Shull, who showed that hybrid organisms were more vigorous than pure-breed ones, thus discrediting racial purity as biological superiority.

How did Japan's geography influence it's inhabitants people who lived there
zmey [24]

It is many Japanese earned their living from the sea. Because Japan is an island nation, the sea has had a big influence on it. Many people fish, and a lot of native Japanese dishes are seafood based.

Buddhism actually did take hold in Japan, but that was not influenced by the geography; therefore the second one is right.

I hope this helped! (:

Kazeer [188]
The Immigration Act of 1924 produced highly discriminatory results because it set a max on how many immigrants could come to the US depending on what country they came from.

For example, there were many more opportunities for citizens from countries like Germany, Great Britain, and Sweden in comparison to individuals from Italy or Russia. Here are some numbers to support this claim:

Germany's Quota (aka amount that could come into US)- 51,227
Great Britain and Northern Ireland's Quota- 34,0007
Sweden's Quota- 9,561
Italy's Quota- 3,845
Russia's Quota-2, 248.

Discuss the conclusions you can draw from thinking about how history is told. Consider how historians are persuaded by their own
Varvara68 [4.7K]

Answer:

The histography of ancient times is a complex study that needs to be examined from every possible angle to clear the picture of the past.

Explanation:

It is always a concern about the historians that to what extent they can remain unaffected from their surrounding while writing history. And ancient history was marked by despotic rule where any criticism about the head of the state and strong institution would immediately deal with harsh punishment. Moreover, the credibility of historians can be doubted when we study that they were dependent on the royal patronage and therefore have worked to legitimate the royal authority.
