I would expect the liver cell to have SMOOTH ENDOPLASMIC RETICULUM in abundant.
Smooth endoplasmic reticulum is one the membrane bound organelles found in the cell. The function of smooth endoplasmic reticulum is dependent on the location where it is found in the cell. Generally, it is an organelle which is usually involved in the catabolism and synthesis of some substances. In the liver cell, smooth endoplasmic reticulum is involved in the breaking down of harmful substances, turning them into harmless substance which are not toxic to the cells.
