The Eight Amendment to the United States Constitution prohibits some punishments that could be considered cruel or even unusual. In this way, due to in USA the capital punishment is a possibility, the issues concerning the 8th amendment have been related to it. This is because the capital punishment could be considered by some as cruel, pushing the prisioner under stress and being against other principles related to the right of living.
