<span>It is true that the creation of music charts helped to shape and to encourage the growth of rock and pop music. People started experimenting with sounds in order to create new music genres, out of which rock and pop music were formed back in the beginning to mid-20th century. Although they have their roots in other musical genres, they were quite inspired with the creation of music charts nevertheless.</span>
