What is the best definition of a restrictive clause?
JulsSmile [24]

The best definition of a restrictive clause is:

C) A clause not set apart by commas, necessary to the meaning of the sentence.

What is a restrictive clause?

A restrictive clause is a group of words that add more meaning to our understanding of a noun without the separation with commas. The words are together and the reader can grasp the full meaning of the noun because of the additional explanations that are added to the mix.

A restrictive clause is necessary to the meaning of a sentence because it promotes understanding of the main ideas.

The third sentence captures the meaning of a restrictive clause because it does not have a comma and is important to the comprehension of the entire sentence.

Restrictive clauses help the person who is reading to have a better understanding of the nouns and unfamiliar terms. So the best definition of a restrictive clause is in option C.

All spoken languages have which of following characteristics in common? select all that apply.
Vera_Pavlovna [14]
I'm going to say just the word "no." I know Spanish and English -

Spanish has upside down question/exclamation marks, and they don't use capitalized letters unless it's the beginning of a sentence, which marks out vocabulary.

Spanish is also nearly backwards from English - this marking out pattern of word order.

What figurative language does this poem use and where?
natali 33 [55]
Animalification is the figurative language. It is used when saying how the fog comes in on little cat feet. Then it goes on by saying it is sitting down and looking over something. If animalification is not an option then it is personification, as animalification is a more narrowed down term of the aforementioned used to describe the actions of an animal as applied to the inanimate object.
