For the sequence given by an=4n+5 , answer the following:
Reika [66]
A.) First 5 terms are: 4(1) + 5, 4(2) + 5, 4(3) + 5, 4(4) + 5, 4(5) + 5 = 4 + 5, 8 + 5, 12 + 5, 16 + 5, 20 + 5 = 9, 13, 17, 21, 25

b.) 25th term = 4(25) + 5 = 100 + 5 = 105
sum of the first 25 terms = 25/2(9 + 105) = 25/2(114) = 285

c.) The sequence is an arithmetic sequence because, the sequence increases by addition of 4.

The poem is "Leaves of Grass" by Walt Whitman
serg [7]

The correct answer is: Free Verse.

Walt Whitman's "Leaves of Grass" is a collection of poems that was first published in 1855. Since then Whitman rewrote and added material. In over four decades of work, Whitman produced many well-known poems such as 'Song of Myself' or 'I Sing the Body Electric'. With the exception of one particular composition, all poems in this collection were written in free verse, whithout following the traditional standards for meter and rhyme. In that sense, Whitman's greatest legacy is the renovation of form. It's important to recognize that, despite the freedom of verses, many lines in Whitman's production approach iambic meter, which is a very classical form. That is because the iambic meter produces a very natural sound, like in conversation, as Whitman intended because of his democratic and philosophical view.

C. too high because supply exceeded demand.

D. too high because quantity supplied exceeded quantity demanded.

It is stated that there is a shortage of cigarettes, this means that it was no possible to fulfill the quantity of product that was being demanded by the customers, then the most possible situation is that because of the low cost of the product it became more popular leading to losing the balance between demand and supply.
