Octopus and squid have little suction cups on their tentacles. It helps with sticking onto food (so it doesn't get away) and also helps with sticking into things. If it wanted to camouflage into some rocks, it can use its tentacles to cling to to the rock.
Tentacles can also grab and carry things. Scientists have made tests where they would put a clam in a jar with the lid screwed on. The octopus would grab onto the jar and use its tentacles to twist the lid off.
Without tentacles, octopuses and squids would be pretty helpless and probably couldn't survive in the deep ocean.

The two ways the endocrine system and the nervous system are different in communication, is that the nervous system responds rapidly to short-term changes in the body by sending electrical impulses. And with the endocrine system, it takes longer, so it's a long-term effect until it notices any changes and when it does, it sends chemical messengers known as hormones into the body.
Now, how they are similar, is because both the nervous and endocrine systems work together to maintain homeostasis.
The type of rock that will be formed is METAMORPHIC ROCK.
Metamorphic rocks are pre-existing rocks that are formed as a result of physical or chemical alteration by mean of heat and pressure. The process transform the rock into a denser, more compact rock. Examples of metamorphic rocks are marble, gneiss and schist. Metamorphic rocks can be formed from already existing igneous or sedimentary rock. <span />
