Answer:

total  tax liability = $8771.25

Explanation:

given data

taxable income up to $9,275 single individuals = 10 %

income of $9,276 to $37,650 = 15 %

income of $37,651 to $91,150 = 25 %

solution

we know here  amount upto  $9,275 is

amount upto  $9,275 =  $9,275 × 10% = $927.50     ..........1

and

amount  $9,276 to $37,650 = ( 37650 - 9276 ) × 15%  = $4257.45     ........2

and

amount $37,650 to $50,000 = ( 50000 - 37650) × 25% = $3587.50     ............3

so now add all 3 equation we get

total  tax liability = $927.5 + $4256.25 + $3587.5

total  tax liability = $8771.25

Tax Bracket rate amount

upto $          9,275 10% $     927.50

next (37650-9275) $        28,375 15% $ 4,256.25

remaining $        14,350 25% $ 3,587.50

total $        52,000  $ 8,771.25

On January 2, 2019, Kornis Corporation acquired equipment for $ 1 comma 000 comma 000. The estimated life of the equipment is 5
Nat2105 [25]

Answer:

Depreciation by December 31, 2019=$400,000

Explanation:

The expression for the accumulated depreciation is as follows;

accumulated depreciation=Acquisition cost-residual value

where;

acquisition cost=$1,000,000

residual value=$40,000

replacing;

depreciable cost=1,000,000-40,000=$960,000

depreciable cost=$960,000

The annual depreciation can be expressed as;

annual depreciation=depreciable cost/estimated life

where;

depreciable cost=$960,000

estimated life=5 years

replacing;

annual depreciation=960,000/5=192,000

annual depreciation=$192,000

depreciation rate=annual depreciation/depreciable cost×100

depreciable rate=(192,000/960,000)×100=20%

Since it is a double-declining depreciation rate we multiple the depreciable rate by 2;

(20%×2)=40%

Depreciation by December=carrying value×rate

Depreciation by December 31, 2019=1,000,000×40%=$400,000

The principle of monetary neutrality implies that an increase in the money supply will increase.
Advocard [28]

An increase in money supply will increase <u>the price level, but not real GDP. </u> This is the principle of monetary neutrality.

The actual Gross Domestic Product or GDP won't change even if the money supply increases and the price level does as well since, according to the monetary neutrality, changes in the money supply have actually no impact on real variables.

Also, in principle of monetary neutrality, changes in the money supply can have a temporary impact on employment and production, which are part of real GDP or actual economic variables.

The neutrality of money, often known as neutral money, is a theory that contends that, rather than actual economic variables, changes in the money supply might have an impact on the pricing of goods and services but the economy's fundamental structure and circumstances remain unchanged.
