What is the theme of “My Father’s Song”?

 My Father's song is a poem by Simon Ortiz and its theme is about how Indians always tell a story, from generation to generation.

 Ortiz writes on how the remembrance his father transmitted to him the reverence for the Earth and its living beings.

The language he uses is simple, but full of meanings.
