How are the Igbo people portrayed by Achebe in Things Fall Apart?

English

Albert Chinualumogu Achebe was born on November 16, 1930, in Ogidi, a large village in Nigeria. Although he was the child of a Protestant missionary and received his early education in English, his upbringing was multicultural, as the inhabitants of Ogidi still lived according to many aspects of traditional Igbo (formerly written as Ibo) culture. Achebe attended the Government College in Umuahia from 1944 to 1947. He graduated from University College, Ibadan, in 1953. While he was in college, Achebe studied history and theology. He also developed his interest in indigenous Nigerian cultures, and he rejected his Christian name, Albert, for his indigenous one, Chinua.

Describe the most important lesson you have learned in this past fall semester or quarter. Please use big bold words will git br
Stolb23 [73]

Answer:

Personally, the answer should be: "TO REREAD AND TO REWRITE TEXTS AND ESSAYS IS A MAIN STRATEGY".

Explanation:

Rereading and rewriting is a strategy of improvement all teachers advise students to do because it is a possibility for reinforcing the content, interpretations and correct understanding, if possible. In terms of literature, for example, to reread a text is important to summarize, to paraphrase, and discuss the text later. On the other hand, to rewrite is another possibility for improving the content, spelling, consistency of arguments and examples, besides background researching in terms of writing and rewriting essays. This is something developed and improved independently in the last semester for personal purposes and which has been a great opportunity for reinforcing strategies of reading and writing in any media and context.

I just need help paraphrasing ONLY lines 7 and 8 of this poem. Basically just need help rewriting two lines from this poem.
bagirrra123 [75]
Here is the answer:
I wish I could recall that first day,

To begin with hour, first snapshot of your meeting me,

Assuming brilliant or diminish the season, it may be

Summer or Winter for nothing I can state;

So unrecorded did it disappear,

So visually impaired was I to see and to predict,

So dull to stamp the growing of my tree

That would not bloom for some a May.

In the event that no one but I could remember it, such

A day of days! I let it go back and forth

As traceless as a defrost of past snow;

It appeared to mean pretty much nothing, implied to such an extent;

In the event that exclusive now I could review that touch,

In the first place touch of as an inseparable unit—Did one yet know!

That is to say, this is the third time I've needed to ask this question. It's just two lines I require help with. Hope it help!

seropon [69]

Answer:

C). The ability of an ecosystem to recover from damage.

Explanation:

The word 'resiliency' in literal terms is defined as the 'the physical or mental ability to recover quickly from an illness or to resume the original form.'

In the given context, the author talks about 'ecological resiliency' which is characterized as the potential or ability of nature to heal itself and 'recover from the damage caused by the disturbances or perturbation.' These disturbances are the temporary changes in the environment that affect the ecosystem and the ecosystem possesses the power to return to its original form by recovering the damage caused by this change. Thus, option C is the correct answer.
