Statistics show that workers with a college degree will make two to three more during their lifetimes than workers who do no possess post-secondary education. . College-educated workers can get jobs which require more professional and technical skill. These jobs are in demand and pay higher. They also allow more mobility and flexibility in terms of work requirements, and opportunities for promotion and to acquire new skills.
The United States military did not authorize African Americans to become pilots until July 1941 when the Tuskegee Airmen were created through Tuskegee University in Alabama and endorsed by the Army Air Corps. Up until this point the military had put out various memos and policies claiming African Americans were ill-fit to pilot aircraft, however, the brave and successful military actions of the Tuskegee pilots in World War II proved these critics wrong.
In order to ensure ratification of the Constitution in Virginia and New York, the Federalists allowed there to be a "Bill of Rights" in the Constitution that ensured that the new government would not impeded people's liberties, such as the freedom of speech.
