Why is Leonardo da Vinci known as a “Renaissance Man?”
rusak2 [61]
Leonardo da Vinci was known as a "Renaissance Man" because he contributed to it. He encouraged the new way of thinking and helped compute the many scientifical advancements during the Renaissance Period. He was a big believer in proving ideas and concepts with science, and not just letting the Roman Catholic Chruch control his beliefs and the science behind it. He had a big role in the Enlightenment.

So, I would say "C" is the best answer. His interests de coincide with many Renaissance happenings and beliefs.

I hope this helps!

Answer:

Option A.

Explanation:

Share-cropping is the right answer.

A form of agriculture in which a landlord permits a tenant to manage the land in return for a portion of the yields produced on their piece of the estate is known as the Sharecropping. This system became popular in the South as an acknowledgement to the financial outbreak generated by the elimination of slavery throughout and following Reconstruction. This system provided a way for extremely poor peasants, including both the whites and the blacks, to earn a living.

"how “american” was colonial art? to what extent does it illustrate the development of a new/different society?"
Troyanec [42]
It wasn't. It was mostly inspired by European stories and European art. The first time that a strictly American art movement began was with people like James Fenimore Cooper and Washington Irving who started building the national identity and writing about the US.  The colonial period was usually either political or historical and related to Europe.
