gulaghasi [49]

ABC and AED are congruent by SSS. SSS is if three sides of a triangle are congruent to 3 sides of another triangle, then the triangles are congruent. AB and AE are both 7, BC is congruent to ED and CA is congruent to DA because of the tick marks.

7. Subtract 5.7 from both sides to get the variable on one side. (f=2)
8. Subtract 5.52 from both sides to get the variable on one side. (f=5)
9. Add 3.77 to both sides so the variable will be on one side.
10. Add 10.58 to both sides.
11. Divide by 2.2 on both sides. 2.2b/2.2 will leave you with the variable b. 8.8/2.2=4; b=4.
12. Divide by 2.5b on both sides. 2.5b/2.5 leaves b. 10/2.5= 4; b=4.

Kristen bought a 14 ounce bottle of catshup for 91 cents. At the same rate, how much would a 20-ounce bottle cost?
strojnjashka [21]

Answer:

$1.30 or 130 cents

Step-by-step explanation:

You divide 91 by 14 to get the amount per ounce and you would get 6.5. Then you multiply that by 20 to get the new amount which is 130, or $1.30.

Victor wants to purchase a perpetuity paying 100 per year with the first payment due at the end of year 11. He can purchase it b
Kitty [74]

Answer:

K = 151.9422481

Step-by-step explanation:

At the end of year 10, your perpetuity is worth 100/i

(1) is worth 90×s_{10%i}

So if you set them equal you get 90*[(1+i)^10 - 1]/i = 100/i or [(1+i)^10 - 1] = 10/9 or (1+i)^10 = 19/9 or i = 0.077583937

So now the question compare (1) to (2), at t = 0

(1) is worth 90×a_{10%i} = 90(1 - 1/(1.077583937)^10)/0.077583937 = 610.5441743

(2) is worth K×a_{5%i} = 4.018264714×K

Therefore K = 151.9422481
