Ismene is fearful of breaking the law and facing death; however, she is not fearful of any punishment that may occur after death as a result of her disrespecting the gods. In addition to fear, she makes the argument that, because she is a woman, she should not be taking a stand against men.
Ismene feels that human authority has more power than the gods; therefore, she will submit to Creon's decree forbidding the burial of her brother Polyneices. She plans to seek the forgiveness of the gods for her decision but does not seem to fear them. In addition to fearing Creon, she does not feel that she is strong enough to take a stand against the law. In contrast, Antigone does not fear human authority and chooses to follow the gods. Unlike her sister, she displays courage and strength.

Answer:

The conflict the sisters are experiencing is ironically similar to the brothers' conflict. Both Antigone and Polyneices are loyal to themselves and the gods more than the king and his subjects. On the other hand, Ismene and Eteocles experience an overwhelming need for civil obedience. Both sibling pairs undergo stresses within their relationships due to conflicting perspectives.

Being a role model speech
a_sh-v [17]

Answer: Being a role model can be stressful, you have one or more people loking up to you and you have to be an example of perfection to them. But, maybe that's not so, maybe being a role model isn't making no mistakes but it's learning from them, teaching people how to deal with mistakes with what you learn, being a guide. Being a role model is fun sometimes, it's not the easiest but it's good to have a role model, so be one. Learn from mistakes and guide others to do the same.
