Biochemistry is the study of the actions of the main metabolic processes of living organisms, which are protein synthesis (DNA and RNA molecules, genetic codes and how they work, enzyme formation and function, etc), glycolysis (cellular respiration, aka the Krebs cycle/citric acid cycle to break down glucose molecules to release chemical energy and oxydative phosphorylation, the use of that chemical energy to form ATP molecules in which the chemical energy is put in a form the cell can use, and lipid chemistry (the study of the pathways in which fatty acids are formed into lipids and fat molecules and cholestrol formation and function).
Essentially, biochemistry covers the chemical reactions necessary for cellular and organism metabolism

The. of earth's rotation axis stays the same as it orbits the sun
yuradex [85]

Answer:

The tilt of earth's rotation axis stays the same as it orbits the sun.

Explanation:

The axis of the Earth is an imaginary line around which the Earth is known to orbit. The axis of the earth is known to tilt at an angle of 66 and a half degrees. The tilt of the axis of the Earth remains the same and it does nor change as the earth orbits around the sun. The orbiting of the Earth around its axis causes day and night to occur on the planet Earth. The rotation of the Earth around its axis is slowing with time.

The autonomic nervous system (ANS) refers to a fundamental part of the peripheral nervous system capable of regulating diverse physiological functions.

This system (autonomic nervous system) is responsible for regulating involuntary processes such as blood pressure, heart-pumping, respiration rate, digestion, etc.

The parts of the autonomic nervous system include the sympathetic nervous system and parasympathetic nervous system.

Some friends are trying to make wine in their basement. They've added yeast to a sweet grape juice mixture and have allowed the
Vanyuwa [196]

Answer:

The correct answer is d. high sugar concentrations stimulate cellular respiration, and alcohol is not a by-product of cellular respiration.

Explanation:

As they added sweet grape juice mixture the amount of sugar increased in the content and it is seen that more than 6 % of sugar decreases the rate of fermentation and alcohol concentration also decreases and a moderate amount of glucose concentration in the anaerobic environment increases the fermentation results in more alcohol production.

High sugar concentration decreases fermentation but increases cellular respiration in the yeast, as a result, it uses more sugar for its growth and produce CO₂ and H₂O so alcohol is not the by-product of cellular respiration. Therefore the correct answer is d. high sugar concentrations stimulate cellular respiration, and alcohol is not a by-product of cellular respiration.
