A few things I've learned in my spanish classes that you will absolutely need to know are conjugation, past and future tense, ubject pronoun chart which is: yo ; tú ; él, ella, usted ; nosotros/nosotras ; vosotros/vosotras ; ellas, ellos, ustedes, knowing that each word is feminine or masculine etc.
