Answer:

The fate of Italy in the 16th century revealed that small political units could not survive against larger, more centralized powers.

Explanation:

 • Many smaller ideological groups and politi parties emerged in Italy in the first half of the 16th century. These groups mostly challenged the functioning of the religious machinery of the state and asked the larger religious groups to present logic and reasoning behind their activities.
 • The large and dominant groups suppressed such small political units and restricted the emergence of any ideologies rising against the religious beliefs.

What were the faults in the Articles of Confederation?
ohaa [14]

Answer:

The main reason for the downfall of the articles of confederation would be its own weakness. Since the federal government was too weak and had little power to enforce laws it was necessary to change the articles. The congress could not repay the debts caused by the revolutionary war and that weakened the government even more. Regardless of the size of the state, each one had only 1 vote in congress and that same congress could not tax, regulate commerce and there was no national court system and no judicial branch. These were the main weaknesses of the Articles of Confederation that led to them being replaced down the line.
