The majority of the countries marked on this map are countries form the region known as the Middle East, with Turkey and Cyprus being exceptions. This a region that is very important in the world, both historically and in the present. It is here that the first civilizations started to develop and spread out their culture, as well as the inventing of the farming. It is also the region where the three Abrahamic religions rose from, first the Judaism, than the Christianity, and also the Islam. In the present, this region is known for two things, the first being that it is always in conflict, and the second that it is one oft he biggest exporters of oil and natural gas in the world.
