At the beginning of this lesson, you listed possible reasons for the decline of ancient Egypt in the Notebook. Review your list,
and reflect on your response. What incorrect ideas about Egypt did you have? Keeping in mind everything you have learned, write one paragraph (75 to 125 words in length) that describes how your understanding of Egyptian history has changed.
At first I thought that the Egyptians were wiped out by famine or plague. I now understand that Egypt was a great civilization that was destroyed by multiple invasions. Although Egypt fought back when attacked, it could not resist multiple enemy invasions. Egypt has a great history of art and architecture, but its people were not skilled at making weapons. Egypt may have fallen into ruin over time, but it lives on today through its art and architecture.
All apply except businesses might be less inclined to break laws. I say this because most big businesses have lots of taxes that are not paid, this is actually very common.
