India was successful in winning their independence but Israel and Palestine continue their conflict over land. The African nations were fighting for political freedom from colonial forces, but Israel and Palestine have been fighting for control of the same land. India’s independence was led by Mahatma Gandhi. He is the leader of the Indian Independence Movement against British rule. His full name is Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi known by many as Mahatma Gandhi. He is also the one who inspired the movements for civil rights and freedom across the world. His name meaning is Great Soul and He is also a prominent Indian leader who campaign for the independence of India.

How do you think the culture and values shared by Greeks both united and divided them
ratelena [41]
It divided them because the Greek city states were all proud of their own culture, traditions and heritage. This led to many internal conflicts and struggles. At the same time, however, in times of need when there was a strong outside force (Persian empire for example), they joined together as their culture and values bonded them together to fight a common enemy.
