Sometimes serious mental inflictions such as; abuse, trauma, loss of a loved one, insomnia, anxiety and routine dysfunctional behavior can be a cause.
Medication is only a good idea if there is no other way to control your behavior, everybody's body chemistry is different and one medication may work well for some and have an adverse effect on others.
