The best thing anyone can do when it comes to criticism is taking it into account and trying to improve. It is important to not get overly defensive about it, or to take it too personally. Reacting badly will only cause you to miss a learning opportunity. Moreover, it might make you angry towards the person offering the criticism, even if their intentions are good ones. Therefore, the best thing Vince could do is listening and trying to learn from the criticism so that he can be better next time.
