 The greeks trade with Egypt. The earlier contact between this two civilizations dates back to the bronze age when the minoans started trading with them. The probe of it can be read in the homeric poems and material evidence containing names of places, culture and art.

 The minoan civilization lived in the island of Crete, as they lived on an island their primarily activity was the seafaring. The evidence shows that the egypcian culture held pottery decorated in the minoan style. Like the dolphin vasel found on Lisht.
