American colonists were already very angry due to the heavy taxation of the British crown when the Townshend Acts were next in line, Then, the colonists were mad at the Anglish Government. The Sons of Liberty took some actions such as Es protests and tarred and feather the tax collectors. Colonists boycotted imports from England and the Daughters of Liberty supported the cause when they worked hard to substitute some of those imports.
