harkovskaia [24]

Answer and Explanation:

Judge Kennedy's position on the death penalty for offenders under the age of 18 shows a pattern of decency that promotes the progress of society because it allows these young people to be judged by their mental abilities that are more fragile than the mental abilities of an adult. This positioning shows that the young man's mind is still in formation and that is why participation in a heinous crime is not enough to promote this young person to the death penalty. This is relevant because it shows that the death penalty is something extreme and should be considered taking into account the individual's biological and mental constitution.

It gives citizens the right to their own religion and the own right to print what they like as long as it is not libelous. Freedom is the cornerstone of the bill  of rights (Amendments 1 to 10)

14 After the civil war and after Lincoln's assassination, the colored were granted citizenship.

19 This is actually my favorite one. It granted women political rights after WWI. Can you imagine that the constitution was hammered out in the late 1700 and it was not until 1920 that women got the rights they deserved. I'm a male by the way.

Virty [35]

Answer: D)

Explanation:

The Articles of confederation and the U.S constitution had lots of differences. Both varied in matters of the Executive Branch, Legislative branch, Judicial branch, The power of national government and the amendment. One major difference was regarding the powers of the national government was that in the Articles of Confederation, some states were completely sovereign. The consent of at least nine states was required by Congress to declare war. The concept of Federal Supremacy was missing. Congress also had no power to pass laws binding on the states. It also had no power to levy taxes.
