Compare the routes of Dias and da Gama from Portugal to the cape of good hope. Why do you think they were so different
vredina [299]

Bartolomeu Dias del Castillo sailed around the southern tip of Africain 1488, what is known as the Cape of Good Hope. His expedition demonstrated that both, the Indian Ocean and the Atlantic joined into each other. Years later, the Discovery of Bartolomeu Dias really helped Vasco da Gama’s expedition to India.

Vasco da Gama sailed around the Cape of Good Hope and crossed the Indian Ocean to reach India in May 1498. More precisely, he arrived at Calicut on May the 20th.

Some historians considered that Dias expedition was not successful because Dias did not reward King John II properly, and he was forgotten, although his impressive expedition.

On the other hand, Vasco de Gama’s found resistant form the King of Calicut on trade. Gama´s presents to the King did not impress him. But his discovery of the new ocean route to India improved Portuguese trade years later.

By finding the Ocean passage discovered by Vasco de Gama, the European merchants had no necessity of crossing the Silk Road to trade with the East.

Damm [24]

Answer:

The sense of putting effort into your actions and giving your all in it means that you are testing yourself to see what your limit is and with it you will see how good you are at it. Why is it so difficult to achieve that? ... Because it is simply not easy to reach your limits, it is easy to set a limit on what you are trying to achieve, but meeting it is the truly strenuous thing, but if you have in mind that you want to be a better person every day and you strive for it, then you will achieve it. , and when you do, you will feel proud of yourself, because you surpassed yourself, and you achieved what you thought was impossible, you will feel satisfied because, you have achieved what you set yourself as a personal goal ........

explain and argument: why does madison say a republican form of government best suits the united states as it forms a new consti
SashulF [63]
James Madison played a great role in establishment of the US as a republic. During the writing of the constitution, the founding fathers were adamant that they wanted democratic system of governance. However, they were torn between a direct democracy and a republican democracy. James Madison dismissed a direct democracy since the US is a large country and thus impossible to be governed through direct pure democracy. Instead, the father of the constitution argued for a scheme of representation in a republican setting. He especially lauded such a government since it even catered for the rights of the minority than in direct democracies.
