a gamete, the two alleles of the P generation separate. Each gamete carries one allele from each

Transcription is the transfer of genetic information from DNA to RNA, and it happens in the nucleus. We can automatically rule out B. B is incorrect because it doesn't make sense; how can a process stop before it even begins?
A. I believe this is incorrect because mRNA is involved when the genetic information needs to leave the nucleus. mRNA would take it to a ribosome outside of a nucleus. Since transcription happens in the nucleus, mRNA is irrelevant before it starts.
C. This doesn't really make sense. mRNA carries information from the DNA, but not vice versa (in these early stages).
D. This would make the most sense, since RNA polymerase needs to attach to the promoter on the strand before transcription can begin.
Answer: If we kill all the organisms in one trophic level, then transfer of energy as well as matter to next higher level will stop. It will lead to over- population at one particular level causing amongst the individuals. This would seriously disturb the food chain and can cause the collapse of an ecosystem even.
An exponential growth graph looks pretty much like the right side of a parabola. The graph equation is f(x)= C ·a^x, so you can also plug in x values to find the y value. It's not a linear line, but it curves upwards starting from (0,0).
From studies and research, I believe the proper question would be:
"How do the animals satisfy their need for water?" or "How long do the animals live?"
Explanation 1:
When studying the desert, asking "Can you buy the animals in pet stores?" is not going to help you find information about the desert because it is not a question to get information about the desert, only information if you just buy it at your local pet shop.
Explanation 2:
Asking "How many offspring do the animals have?" does help us learn about animals, but we are trying to find information on the structure of the desert in which the animals live in. We are not looking for how many children the animals will have because it doesn't fully relate to the question we would be asking.
Side Note: Offsprings mean children.
