Total Area: T.A.=2*Ab+Al

Area of the base: Ab=p*K

Semi-perimeter of the base: p
p=P/2
Perimeter of the base: P=20
p=P/2=20/2→p=10
Ab=p*k=10*K→Ab=10K

Lateral Area of the prism: Al
Al=P*h
Height of the prism: h=6
Al=P*h=20*6→
Al=120

T.A.=2*Ab+Al
T.A.=2*(10K)+120
T.A.=20K+120
T.A.=120+20K

Answer: (120+20K)

Find the next three terms of the sequence 2000,200,20,...and write the term to term rule.
LUCKY_DIMON [66]

Answer:

2, 0.2, 0.02

The first number is 2000. The term to term rule is 'divide by 10'.

Step-by-step explanation:

To calculate the next term, divide the previous term by 10:

2000 ÷ 10 = 200

200 ÷ 10 = 20

Therefore, the next three terms will be:

20 ÷ 10 = 2

2 ÷ 10 = 0.2

2 ÷ 10 = 0.02

Term to term rule

To work out the term to term rule, give the initial number of the sequence and then describe the pattern:

The first number is 2000. The term to term rule is 'divide by 10'.

Declan has n baseball cards. Sam has 4 times as many baseball cards as Declan. Amaya has 7 fewer baseball cards than Sam. Which
Kamila [148]

Answer:

4n-7

Step-by-step explanation:

First, you know that Sam's equation is 4n, since it is 4 times Declan's value n. Next, you take Sam's equation and subtract 7 from that value, since Amaya has 7 fewer cards than Sam. The final equation will be 4n-7.

Suppose we have a population that does not follow the normal distribution. What minimum sample size we should select in order to
Pepsi [2]

Answer:

D. 30

Step-by-step explanation:

Having a population that doesn't follow normal distribution (skewed) can still have sampling distribution that is completely normal. This fact is presented in the Central Limit Theorem.

Central Limit Theorem: states that we can have a normal distribution of sample means even if the original population doesn't follow normal distribution, we just need to take a large sample.

So how much sample size do we need?

There is no straight forward answer to this rather we have to analyse the situation closely!

1. If the population distribution is already normal then a smaller sample size would be enough to ensure normal distribution.

2. If the population distribution is very skewed than a larger number of sample size is needed to ensure normal distribution. The rule of thumb is to take sample size equal to or more than 30 to be on safer side. This is the case in this problem hence option D fits the best.
