In Spanish, if the adjective is describing a girl is will most likely end in an “a”, but boys it will end in an “o”.

In Spanish, adjectives must agree with the noun they describe in gender and in number. This means that if the noun an adjective describes is feminine, the adjective must be feminine, and if that same noun is also plural, the adjective will be feminine AND plural

However, you could mention consequences such as, taking a while to get used to or stress for a while. But everything is changing so things are always going to be unstable and the faster you understand that the easier people will adapt to new challenges and changes in their life.
