Jared Diamond argues that crowding led to spread of diseases and infections among people. However, when agriculture was first discovered and established, societies and villages started to shift towards a better standard of living. Societies and villages gradually became the centre of all man-made achievements.

From medicines to security, societies started developing various ways of life that helped in preventing sicknesses and diseases, predators, disharmony, etc. Though there were higher chances of spread of diseases, development of medicines and preventive measures quickly responded in societies.
