Like the previous person who answered this, if you have to write a research paper that's 4-5 pages long, I can guarantee you that you'd have an easier and a more enjoyable experience in writing about what you're passionate about. Are you into social media? Social media alone has so many different issues to touch up on.

Bullying, racism, gender identity, LGBTQ+ rights, beauty standards, internet safety, fighting off poverty in our world, etc. etc. there is so much you can talk about!

Think about what you're interested in and I swear you'll be able to write 5 pages without even realizing!

If you get to choose a research topic or issue, why not choose something you'd be interested in? If you do, I promise it'll be ten times easier to write! I have written research papers on current events like police brutality or climate change, the effects of social media on teenagers with depression/anxiety, and the impact China's one child policy had on their country!
