When we reached the level and could see the gold tree-tops, I pointed toward them, and Antonia laughed and squeezed my hand as i

f to tell me how glad she was I had come. We raced off toward Squaw Creek and did not stop until the ground itself stopped – fell away before us so abruptly that the next step would have been out into the tree-tops. We stood panting on the edge of the ravine, looking down at the trees and bushes that grew below us. The wind was so strong that I had to hold my hat on, and the girls' skirts were blown out before them. Antonia seemed to like it; she held her little sister by the hand and chattered away in that language which seemed to me spoken so much more rapidly than mine. She looked at me, her eyes fairly blazing with things she could not say.
What is a logical conclusion that can be drawn from the description of setting in this passage from My Antonia?

The description shows how windy the prairie is, making it hard for the children to stand.
The description signals a change in the relationship between Antonia and the narrator.
The description shows that the prairie is a good place for children to play.
The description shows that the wind on the prairie is dangerous.

Select the correct answer. whose political philosophy is most clearly reflected in the declaration of independence? a. thomas ho
Vera_Pavlovna [14]

The Declaration of Independence best exemplifies John Locke's political theory. The official paper was written by Thomas Jefferson.

The majority of academics currently agree that Thomas Jefferson borrowed many of the most well-known concepts from the English philosopher John Locke.

Illustrate the Political Writings of Locke?

 • Like Thomas Hobbes in Behemoth, Locke was first hesitant to write political tracts because he believed they would lead to greater war than men's swords.
 • The Two Tracts on Government and his lectures on the Law of Nature, the latter written as Censor of Moral Philosophy at Christ Church in Oxford, are two important articles he wrote on the subject of toleration, the most divisive and contentious issue of the day.

What is your attitude toward parent–infant co-sleeping? is it influenced by your cultural background?
Cloud [144]
Co-sleeping implies that parents and infant share a similar bed. Safety while at the same time co-sleeping is of most extreme significance. Parents should consider important the significance of giving their children a protected dozing condition.
There is almost certainly that there is a distinction in how well the act of co-sleeping is accepted across cultures. Western culture generally has disapproved of the course of action, though co-sleeping is by all accounts the standard in other creating nations.
