Explanation: Hessian Soldiers were German soldiers who served the British Army during the American Revolutionary War! They have been referred to as Mercenaries by scholars, but also Auxilaries. Its pretty controversial whether or not we should Call them Mercenaries or not,but I believe this could be your correct answer!
