In at least one hundred words, summarize the main argument of “If Black English Isn’t a Language, Then Tell Me, What Is?”.
Mars2501 [29]
The main argument in this piece is that Black English is termed as its' own distinct language, white English or dissimilar to American. Black English is not simply a dialect of English but its' own language.
Language is a way of expressing yourself, as well as in Black English does exactly the same way, by expressing the kind of lives that black people had lived. The overcoming of slavery is being represented by the development of their languages and submission to the American people during that period of time.
Since their development under more extreme circumstances and different, it has enriched the culture of African American which made them recognize Black English as their language.

e-lub [12.9K]

Because of its two-stage process, the US constitution is difficult to amend. The Founding Fathers purposefully made amending the Constitution difficult.

Why is the US Constitution so rigid?

Because an amendment requires supermajorities at both the proposal and ratification stages, the United States Constitution is rigid (the most common method of amendment is proposal by a two-thirds vote in both houses of Congress followed by ratification by three-fourths of the states).

Flexible constitutions, on the other hand, allow the constitution and the government to act and react more easily as times change.

Therefore, they keep future generations from being bound by past commitments that no longer serve the common good.
