It happened because there was no university in Seychelles.

Seychelles is an archipelago in the Indian Ocean consisting of 115 island-countries. It has the smallest population of any African sovereign countries ( 94,000).

It is one of Africa's countries with most economic prosperity and it has the highest nominal per capita GDP in Africa.

There are a total of 68 schools in Seychelles, seven of them post-secondary.

In September 2009, the first ever university was founded, the University of Seychelles ( UniSey ). It was created as an attempt to slow the brain drain that had occurred previously. Students had to go abroad to study and many of them stayed there afterwards and never returned home, taking with them all the knowledge obtained. By staying abroad, they did not contribute to their home country''s economic and social development, which was a big concern for the government of Seychelles.

The University opened in three locations and offers qualifications from the University of London.

Does anyone know about the case Brown versus the Board of Education
taurus [48]
In his lawsuit, Brown claimed that schools for black children were not equal to the white schools, and that segregation violated the so-called “equal protection clause” of the 14th Amendment, which holds that no state can “deny to any person within its jurisdiction the equal protection of the laws.”
