If someone were to use profanity on the radio, <em>Federal Communications Commission (FCC)</em> is the government agency that would be in charge of the investigation. The FCC regulates information transmitted through radio broadcasts and television. If content that is broadcast is found to be obscene then the network may have to pay fines or face other consequences.
