What happens to a sedimentary rock after tectonic plates push upwards? What would it turn into?
tester [92]
Hi, sounds like it would turn into B). Metamorphic Rock. Igneous rocks are only formed when melted rock hardens and solidifies. Sediimentary rock is formed when sediment is deposited out of air, ice, wind, gravity or even water. I Doubt it would remain a sedimentary rock so the best answer would be metamorphic rock. Hope this was correct. :)

Specific regions of eukaryotic chromosomes contain sequence elements that are absolutely required for the proper transmission of
grandymaker [24]

Answer:

A. terminators of replication.

Explanation:

For the proper transmission of genetic information from a mother cell to each daughter cell, the cell copies or replicates its chromosomes, and then splits the copied chromosomes equally to make sure that each daughter cell has a full set. And in order to duplicate and segregate correctly, chromosomes must contain three functional elements which are origins for initiation of DNA replication, the telomeres and the centromeres. Terminators of replication is not a required element.

What organelle has this function, "hard outer-covering, provides strength and support to cell membrane"?

Hope i helped!
