During World War II, the United States government set up hundreds of internment camps to house B) Americans of German, Japanese, and Italian descent

Explanation:

As a dark chapter in history of the USA the internment camps were found to keep the Americans of Germane Italians and Japanese descent away from the common public of the country who had turned against them.

The public mood in the country was not good for these people and there were rampant hate crimes happening against them in the country. This made i t necessary to operate them from the people and also the Government was paranoid about spy activities happening inside the country.
