Yes unions are necessary. Even with unions there is corruption in businesses and workers are treated unfairly. Without unions, there would be much less regulations on how workers should be treated; it would lead to unsafe and unsanitary working conditions and low pays.

Hope this helps

Focus on this quote by Símon Bolívar: “We have already seen the light, and it is not our desire to be thrust back into darkness.
kondor19780726 [428]
Bolivar was the man who liberated much of South America from European rule. This quote most likely means that he and the other rebels have seen the light of freedom due to their actions, and do not wish to return to the control of Europe. Bolivar wanted to bring independence to South America, as he saw the European rulers as oppressive.

This task is related to the history of Ancient Rome.
Gelneren [198K]

Answer:

Julius Caesar was a renowned general, politician and scholar in ancient Rome who conquered the vast region of Gaul and helped initiate the end of the Roman Republic when he became dictator of the Roman Empire. Despite his brilliant military prowess, his political skills and his popularity with Rome’s lower- and middle-class, his rule was cut short when opponents — threatened by his rising power — brutally assassinated him.
