Therefore I earn $50 interest

Therefore I earn $30.88 interest.

I would do the first one.

Step-by-step explanation:

A.

Given , I invested $500 at 5% simple interest for 2 years.

P=$500,  r =5% and t = 2 years

Interest (I) =\frac{P \times r \times t}{100}

                  =\$\frac{500 \times 5 \times 2}{100}

                   =$50

Therefore I earn $50 interest.

B.

Given , I invested $500 at 3% compounded monthly for 2 years.

P=$500,  r =3% = 0.03 and t = 2 years

Amount (A) =P(1+\frac{r}{n})^{nt}

                   =\$500(1+\frac{0.03}{12})^{ 2\times 12}

                   =$530.88

Interest = $(530.88-530) = $30.88

I would do the first one.

Please please help worth lots of points Given ƒ(x) = x - 1, complete Parts A and B. Part A: Using the table provided, create fiv
Gemiola [76]
Wouldn’t you just for part a, insert different x values and solve to get your y value. and do that over and over again with different numbers to create a data table. and then for part b you’ll just make a graph and put down the points. so for the first slot, do 0 for x. y will equal -1 after solving, so your first plot for part b can be (0,-1) and continue on from there

What is the awnser to -9xt4y=-17 9x-6y=3
erma4kov [3.2K]

Solve first to find y and -9+9 =0

-9x+4y=-17

9x-6y=3

2y= -14

Y= -14/2

Y=-7

Substitute your y answer into first equation solve to find x .

-9x+4(-7)= -17

-9x-28= -17

-9x= -17+28

-9x= 11

X= 11/-9

X= -1.2222 or -1 and 2/9

So answer is (-1.2222, -7)
