the answer is: Intimidation ; force ; confidence

Leaders that do not rely on intimidation and force tend to be seen as capable and trustworthy by their followers, while those who do tend to be seen as spoiled and incompetent.

Because of this, leaders who do not rely on intimidation tend to give more encouragement for the followers to willingly improve themselves in order to fulfill their roles in the group. This usually create a high level of confidence among the followers.

lina2011 [118]

Answer:

Dispositional attribution

Explanation:

A dispositional attribution (also called internal attribution) refers to we fact that we infer that an event or a person's behavior has to do with personal factors such as traits, abilities, or feelings, thus in a dispositional attribution we think that the performance had to do with people abilities and not with environmental situations.

In this example, James usually does very well on tests but he was up all night before his midterm cleaning his apartment and failed his test. However, the teacher attributed James's performance on personal factors (a tendency to avoid studying), instead of external environmental situations (the flood of the apartment).

Thus, the teacher made an incorrect dispositional attribution (or internal attribution) about James' test performance.

Why was it a mistake for General Gage to retreato Yorktown ?
Simora [160]

Answer:

It was a mistake for General Gage to retreat to Yorktown because it could easily be surrounded as it was a peninsula.

Explanation:

The French fleet surrounded General Gage's army on the ocean side, which made it impossible for General Gage to receive reinforcements and supplies. The Continental Army surrounded the British on the land side. General Gage eventually surrendered, marking the end of the Revolutionary War.
