Is It is a fairly simple process to pass a Bill?
vfiekz [6]

Answer:

Yes it is a simple process, but hard to accomplish

Explanation:

It must be sponsored by a Representative, then it moves to be studied by an appointed committee where it is either approved or denied to move on. If approved, it is assigned a date to be voted on, and must win by simple majority (of 435) in the House it is moved to another committee to be approved or killed, if approved it moves through the Senate and again must win by simple majority (51). Congress as a whole then discuss any modifications they wish to see to the bill and it is returned to be voted on one more time. If approved, it is enrolled (printed) and has 10 days for the President to either veto or pass the bill, if passed that bill is now law.

It is a pretty simple process but is incredibly tedious and slow moving. The tension between the two parties in Congress can kill a bill in either the house or senate out of spite, and always can be veto'd by the President if they see if.

Why was the Protestant Reformation a threat to the power that the Catholic church had over Europe?
Brilliant_brown [7]

Answer:

The Protestant Reformation was a threat to the power that the Catholic Church had over Europe because the Catholic Church got all of their money from the members of the church. The Church sold indulgences to the people and told the people that if they did not buy indulgences, then they or their loved ones would not go to heaven. Protestants did not believe in the sell of indulgences, so this would cut the Catholic Church's money supply off big time.
