I WILL GIVE MAX POINTS AND BRAINLIEST!!! PLZ HELP For this assignment, you are going to choose a famous couple from the list bel

ow and write a humorous sonnet that one of these individuals would send to the other. You may write your sonnet with sincerity and affection, or if you are feeling clever or cynical, you may write a parody. A parody uses the form of the original to poke fun. For this assignment, you would write your parody in sonnet form but employ techniques like hyperbole, understatement or irony to mock the love poem genre, the idea of love in general, or some dynamic of your chosen couple's relationship. Choices for couples: Mickey and Minnie Mouse, Superman and Lois Lane, Bonnie and Clyde, Antony and Cleopatra, Charlie Brown and Peppermint Patty, Princess Jasmine and Aladdin, Princess Peach and Mario (video game), Edward and Bella (Twilight series), Harry Potter and Ginny Weasley (Harry Potter series), John Lennon and Yoko Ono, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, Beyonce and Jay-Z, Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner, Faith Hill and Tim McGraw. Use at least one of the humorous devices we studied in this unit: irony, pun, oxymoron, malapropism, or hyperbole. Remember to structure your sonnet in three quatrains ending with a couplet. Once you have the flow of the poem, work on the rhyme scheme. Make sure you have 10 syllables in each line. DO NOT POST AN ANSWER UNLESS IT CAN CHECK OFF ALL OF THESE Does the poem have 14 lines, grouped into three quatrains and one couplet? Is each line exactly 10 syllables? Does the poem follow the rhyme pattern of ABAB CDCD EFEF GG? Is the tone or attitude of the poem effectively conveyed? Does the sonnet focus on a famous pair and demonstrate an understanding of some elements of their relationship? Does the poem effectively employ at least one humor device? PLZ PLZ PLZ HELP ME

Which four parts of this excerpt from W. W. Jacobs's "The Monkey's Paw" show that the White family doubts the major's story?
eduard

Parts 2, 3, 4 and 5 show the attitudes and comments made by the White family about the major’s story and the alleged powers of the monkey’s paw.

In part 2, Mrs. White compares the major’s story with the ‘Arabian nights’ so as to show that, for her, it was nothing more than a tale. In addition, she makes a scornful comment about the seriousness of the situation.

In part 3, the overall veracity of the major is questioned, indicating the lack of trust in his words.

In part 4, a sarcastic comment about the odds of the wishes coming true is made by Herbert, which indicates his skepticism about the paw’s powers.

In part 5, Mr. White’s doubtfulness is literally expressed in the text.

The remaining part (part 1) is the only one that shows the words of the major himself. Thus, it is self-evident that this is the only part that will not express doubts about his story.
