Answer:

When Bigger says, 'Half the time I feel like I’m on the outside of the world peeping in through a knot-hole in the fence' he means that, he feels as if he is not a part of this world.

Explanation:

Bigger Thomas is a central character from the novel ‘Native Son’ which is authored by Richard Wright. The story revolves around a the protagonist Bigger who is poor and a black man.

In the novel we come across a phase when Bigger says, ‘Half the time I feel like I’m on the outside of the world peeping in through a knot-hole in the fence.’ By this he means that despite being a part of the world, he feels detached. He doesn’t consider himself as a part of it, he feels that this world is beyond his understanding.

spin [16.1K]
Freedom related similes and metaphors? Let me think.

- "Freedom is like a free bird" (because it can do freely whatever it wants without noone stopping him)
- "A free slave is like a bird whose been set free from it's cage"
- "Actors and rich men are caged in a prison like locked up birds with no freedom"

I don't have the slightest idea about what to write for metaphors. But, i'll send you a link.

Modifiers in a sentence is said to be when an adverb or an adjective is used in a phrase, clause or in-order to give more clarity to a given sentence.

This modifier goes a long way to make sure that the meaning behind the sentence is clarified. For example, He went to the 5 star restaurant to have a vegetarian meal. The word, Vegetarian is the modifier to meal.

So a man kills someone, and he is charged with murder and sent to jail.
Rzqust [24]

Answer:

If the child is still inside of the woman, then it is referred to not as a baby but as a fetus. She is not murdering anybody but denying life to an unliving thing that wouldn't know the difference. It is better for the child to not have been born than to grow up in an unhealthy household

Scientific discoveries have made life easier but insecure justify the statement
aliina [53]

Scientific discoveries allow several problems that threatened and even hindered our lives to be solved. This can be seen by the development of disease treatment, better forms of mobility, better forms of communication, greater access to entertainment, among other technologies that we can say that make our lives easy, increase our quality of life and allow maintenance of our life is more efficient.

However, scientific advancement promotes the strong exploitation of natural resources, which causes degradation of those resources that are essential for our existence. With degeneration increasingly efficient, we do not know what our lives will be like in the future, but we know it will be insecure because we cannot fight against the force of environmental imbalance.
