The effective use of metaphor was most valuable to Aristotle. As metaphor, it is understood a figure of speech which provides a rhetorical effect by mentioning one thing in reference to another. it might compare two things which are different.
At first he would do bad things just as dares but when he heard the dying man's confession about the things he had done, Matt realized in comparison, he wasn't bad at all. He was just acting it. He became a better person and stopped doing well the bad things and he also became wiser.
