Why do people enjoy story telling

English
1 answer:
natulia [17]3 years ago

This is my opinion.

I believe people LOVE storytelling because it is not only entertaining to the story teller but also the listener. It can be fun learning more about someone or about something. Plus, the storyteller can say what they feel. It is calming for the listener and the storyteller.

I hope this helps! This is just my opinion and I hope this made sense :)

In your own words, explain the God as a Clockmaker Theory. Remember to use<br> complete sentences!
Alla [95]

Answer:

Explanation:

I remember in high school AP European History, learning about the idea of Deism.  Deists believed that we can know there is a God based on natural evidence: all the laws of science and things we see in nature.  But theirs is a view of a God like a clockmaker, who set the world in motion with all its logic and reason and natural laws and order, and then left the world (the clock) to operate on its own.  (And in those days, a clock left on its own would eventually wind down and have to be reset!).  In their view, God was not active in our world or concerned with our lives.

Is the sentence a simple or a compound sentence?
FrozenT [24]
This is a compound sentence, because there are two independent clauses here: 1. Stone bridges are strong + but 2. (strong bridges) are costly to build.
The conjunction 'but' connects two independent clauses, and a compound sentence contains at least two independent clauses, whereas a simple sentence has only one.
