French: We are at war with the British as they refuse to recognize the upper Ohio river valley as our territory. We've established forts to strengthen our claim on the land. The Shawnee, Alonquin, Lenape and other Native American tribes supports us as our trading partners, scouts and soldiers. We are allies with them as some Alhonquians have intermarried with us and have created a new ethnic group, the Metis who also aligned with us, in part, because both of us are Catholic. The battle of Quebec was a complete defeat for us and led to us losing territory, and eventually, all of our colonial possessions in North America.

English:We are at war with the French because they are threatening us by establishing forts in areas that are under our control. We've attempted to expel the French in numerous expeditions, but all have been nigh unsuccessful. The Iroquois, Catawba, and Cherokee Native American tribes support us as our Allies, trade partners, soldiers and scouts. We are are allies with them as they are in conflict with the Native Americans that have sided with the french. Also, we are in collaboration with the indians, and have supplied them with guns. The battle of Quebec was a great victory for us, which resulted in large gains in territory for our side. It also, however, was costly enough that Britain began to heavily tax colonists, and impose restrictions on them that later resulted in revolution.

What is the message of this political cartoon
FromTheMoon [43]

The cartoon criticizes the way that America carelessly went around uprooting peoples' lives out of fear for communism, showing the irrationality in the actions taken all to forward American ideals over those considered "Un-American."

How did the structure of the Articles of Confederation support states' rights?
bazaltina [42]

It's between A and B. The articles of confederation made the federal government weak and pretty much non-existent in terms of true power. Effectively each state was its own country more or less.

I think A and B sound pretty identical though perhaps choice A isn't the best answer because each state didn't really think about the country as a whole, but rather focused on their own backyard.

So that's why I'm thinking the final answer is choice B

Though I would get a second opinion on the matter.
