Answer: the The essence of Irish music is the spirit of the music.

It involves the lyrical themes, the types of instruments used, the rhythm and the way it is structured. It may involve the dances that typically go along with it.

"Real" Irish music may be more difficult to define. It may refer to music composed by Irish musicians in Ireland. It may mean the traditional music that people associate with Ireland. There is also an Irish Reel-- different spelling-- a type of dance with specific structure.

Explanation: There is a long "debate" about the Irish music associated with the American celebration of St. Patrick's day- "McNamara's Band," "Toura Loura Loura," "Danny Boy," etc. and how it is much different from music actually played in Ireland: ballads, folk songs, jigs and reels. I hope you are able to listen to some examples and judge for yourself.

artcher [175]

The correct answers to these questions on solutions, elements, and compounds are provided below:

  • 11. D. Solution
  • 12. C. Mixture
  • 13. B. Magnet
  • 14. D. Sugar and water
  • 15. D. Have constant boiling temperature and melting temperature

A solution is a sort of homogenous mixture whereby a solute is dissolved in a solvent. A mixture refers to two or more substances that are not chemically combined.

In a mixture of two substances with iron as a constituent, a magnet can be used for separation purposes.

A pure substance has just an element or compound whose boiling and melting temperature is constant.

This is unlike a mixture that boils and melts over a range of temperatures.

Conclusively, the above bullet answers are the separation techniques and states of matter.

The answer is:

B: Though the speakers in Okita’s poem and Cisneros’s short story have strong roots in foreign cultures, both of them feel more connected to their American identities.

The sons and daughters of immigrants grow up with a contradictory culture in their spirits, they grow up being form there, but also from here, this is what they try to portray that, they both try to make clear the conection and bond they share with their old cultures and with the country that gave them a nationality.
